Jamie Chronister specializes in providing business, financial, operational management, and turnaround services to both distressed and performing companies in many industries including retail, agribusiness, manufacturing and industrial services.
Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Chronister was a Director at a boutique restructuring firm where his experience included serving in many interim management positions and acting as a financial advisor to various distressed companies. His roles include acting as the CFO and the VP of Operations for a convenience store and fuel distribution chain where he prepared and implemented a turnaround plan to maximize the valuation of the chain’s 36 locations. He also served as debtor financial advisor to a $200 million leading international retail marketer of paper-based organizers and planners.
Prior to that he served as CFO and VP of Operations for West Texas based food processor where he maintained all financial and administrative functions of the company and provided turnaround services to the company after failed product launches drained the company’s cash flow and triggered covenant defaults with secured lender. Mr. Chronister has also served as CFO and Controller for several other companies.
Mr. Chronister received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA/CFF, Texas) and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). Mr. Chronister currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
