Sean Sarsfield provides various services throughout the
litigation process including forensic accounting, business
valuation and quantification of economic damages. His experience
includes providing business and financial advice to attorneys,
in-house counsel, management and shareholders to assist them
throughout the dispute process. Mr. Sarsfield has also provided
various services to clients during the course of bankruptcy
proceedings including the quantification of contract rejection
damages, preparation of liquidation analyses and cash flow
projections, and valuation of various business segments.
Mr. Sarsfield has been involved in matters involving
shareholder disputes, breach of contract, wrongful termination,
personal injury, marital dissolutions, fraud examinations,
post-merger and acquisition disputes, tortuous interference,
employment and compensation disputes, condemnation, lost profit
calculations, business interruption claims, professional
malpractice, intellectual property disputes, lost earnings and
wages computations, asset misappropriation, class action damage
claims and disputes relating to business transactions.
Further, Mr. Sarsfield’s experience encompasses a wide range
of industries including: accounting, advertising, automotive,
banking, construction, contracting, distribution, franchising,
grocery, health care, hedge funds, hospitality, information
technology, insurance, manufacturing, marketing, non-profit
organizations, professional practices, real estate, recreational
vehicle, retail, telecommunications, timber and utilities.
Mr. Sarsfield received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and
Management from Albion College. He is a Certified Public
Accountant, a Certified Valuation Analyst and a Certified Fraud
Examiner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation
Analysts and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners. Mr. Sarsfield is also a member of the Michigan
Association of Certified Public Accountants where he serves on
both the Litigation/Business Valuation Task Force and Fraud Task
Force. Mr. Sarsfield is a member of numerous other professional
organizations and also presents on various topics including
business valuation and the quantification of economic damages. |
